Spears is Being Sued

You are Curious about a Hidden Fantasy.  You Believe. Britney Spears Beauty has six different fragrances, almost one for every day of the week. The newest addition to the collection was the perfume Radiance. However, debuting Radiance smells a lot like sue-age.

Britney is looking at a $10 million law suit from a licensing firm that helped her launch the Britney Spears Beauty fragrance line. Brand Sense Partners claims Spears and her father breached a contract.

Apparently Brand Sense brokered our babes deal with the big time cosmetic company Elizabeth Arden back in 2004. With the deal set and ready to go, Brand Sense was to get 35 percent commission on any of the Spear’s scents sold. Enter the problem here.

The firm alleges that Britney’s dad said the commission was too high and that Spears didn’t want to pay it. The lawsuit says Spear’s cut them out of the deal with a “sneaky, under-handed effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense.”

Every story has two sides. If we have learned anything about our girl Britney, it’s that she calls the shots and with $10 million on the line she has something to say about it.

Taking it a step further, Britney recently filed a counter-complaint against the perfume company. On Britney’s side of the story Brand Sense has been hush-hush about just how much money she is owed for Radiance.

Our pop star is saying her share of the proceeds from the millions of dollars of the fragrance that was sold was withheld for months and they didn’t pay any interest on the delayed payments.

Spears will let the lawyers and lions fight in this Circus because Spears is still prepping for the Femme Fatale tour kick off—and I know we are all anxious for that more than anything else.
